Before we went to pick up our car at the airport Tuesday morning, Alyshia took us to a coffee bar with home-baked American donuts – which tasted great! On our way to the airport, we started reading the car voucher & information... Apparently we had to also bring our Belgian drivers license with us, but we had only brought the international one. Whoops. We really need to learn to read this kind of stuff beforehand. =) Lucky for us, the rental company did not ask for it, so we got our car. What a car! Ann's jaw dropped when she saw it. We expected a small car – the voucher said it would be like a Chevrolet Aveo (two-doors), but instead we got a VW Jetta – O.M.G!
Next we were on our way to Glacier National Park. We took the I-90 which passes through some national forests in Washington. What a joy it is to drive in Washington! It is so green, so scenic. As Seattle - Glacier National Park is a two-day drive, we stopped in St. Regis for the night.
