That night was long and cold (at least to Kevin, since he has a not-fit-for-freezing-temperatures sleeping bag). So we woke up early in the morning and went on our way to Kanab (the first town we encountered – by the way – that had a small veggie shop/diner). On our way we saw a porcupine (which Kevin saw with his 'sharp eyes', what a bragger...). The plan for today was: Ann would do laundry, and Kevin would drive to the next town for a Walmart (for groceries and thermal underwear ;-)). But what happens when you let Kevin do anything alone? He managed to take a wrong turn in a country where that is a really difficult thing to do (well actually, he misread the map). So he came back and watched (indeed not 'helped') Ann doing laundry, together with a couple of mice that were living in the laundromat. After that, he did manage to find the Walmart, and was back home just in time to go for ice cream: Kevin ordered such a big ice cram that he couldn't finish, tssss.
OMG! een dessertje dat Kevin niet opkreeg! 't moest nogal wat zijn :-)
