We went looking for the Tourist Information Center of Seattle, where apparently, they do not sell anything: we wanted some maps, but had to go to a bookstore (Barnes & Noble) to get them. We found a good road atlas of the entire USA, which was cheaper and just as detailed as buying separate state-maps.
Afterward, we went to The Cheesecake Factory! Did not know that it was a real restaurant... We tried the banana-cheesecake and boy was it gooood.
Our phones do not work in the US: you need to have a tri-band phone to be able to access the correct frequencies, but our cheap Nokia phones are apparently only dual-band. So we not only had to buy new SIM-cards, but also new phones. Good thing America has a very consumer-based economy, here you can buy a cheap phone for $20. Too bad they are locked though.

Bwa, you can probably unlock them once you're here ;-). Enjoy your trip!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSup and I used to go to cheesecake factory all the time! Oreo cheesecake!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat was Patch, btw.
BeantwoordenVerwijderen@Lili: Our new cellphones are even worse then our nokia's... (I don't think it's necessary to unlock them :))
BeantwoordenVerwijderen@Patch: Banana cheesecake!!!
@Sup: Thought so :)
