On Thursday, we went for some more shopping. First we went to the REI, looking for a tent. Our plan was to spend approximately $100 on a tent, however we soon discovered that the best prices were $150 to 180. Luckily we discovered that the shop had a permanent “garage sale”, meaning that they sell returned items at seriously reduced prices. Here we were fortunate enough to find a really good ($250) tent for less than $100. The “garage sale”-department had a special open space for setting up the returned tents, to check if parts needed replacement. We only needed to buy some extra pins and some rope, so we ended up paying less than $120 for our tent: a fairly good deal!
Kevin also wanted to buy some new clothes, thinking the USA was so cheap... not! We finally went to Nordstrom Rack, a sort of Nordstrom-outlet shop. Here Kevin bought his first pair of fancy-pants =)
I would expect a picture of the pants... no?
